All the Honda generators have 2 years full warranty (parts and labor) . Just check with your Honda dealer and make sure they call Honda tech support before any decision or you can call customer support @ 770-497-6400
and see if they can get warranty for your machine .

You either have bad piston rings or bad valve seals. A problem as bad as you say will not be a cheap fix, unless you can do the repairs yourself.
