I have a Praktica 7303. When I turn it on, the lens retracts and shows the battery is low, but when on charge, the green light comes on to show the battery is fully charged. What is the problem?

The green light will come on if the charger does not sense a low battery. In other words, if you plug it into the wall, and not the scooter, it will still show the green light. It will only show a low charge (and charge the battery) if it is completely connected completing the circuit. My guess is that the battery is dead, and the plug is not all the way connected. Also, I believe the scooter has to be turned off to charge.

It seems your camera Lens got stuck in open condition, This will happens due to two reason.

1) Either your camera battery got died or need to be recharged or replace.
or
2) Your camera is malfunctioning and need service (repair).

To resolve the problem. first check battery indicator on your camera, If battery indicator shows battery low, than you need to charge it or you need to replace your battery.

Follow the instruction to retract camera lens:-
1) Turn on your camera.
2) Press the Playback button on the back of your camera. The lens on your camera should retract.

If problem still not resolved then your device need to be serviced (Repair).

I'm sorry. It was a false alarm. In fact the lead to the battery charger was faulty and the battery was not properly charged. By fiddling with it, we managed to recharge the battery fully and get the camera working.

If this camera has a rechargeable battery in it You Will Have to Get a new battery for it(Your Description indicates a Bad Battery Cell). If it uses AA Rechargeable Batteries they will Need to Be Replaced.

The battery probably needs charging. The camera will automatically shut down if the battery is going flat.
With the Exilim you need to make sure that you don't overcharge the battery by leaving it permanently docked in it's little docking station - this can damage the battery. There is an LED on the docking station which shows the status of the battery. Red is charging, green is fully charged - take it off the docking station.

Camera (with new rechargable batteries) won't let the lens come out or if it does it instantly retracts.

HAVE A PRAKTICA LUXMEDIA 7303 AND AN ERROR MESSAGE KEEPS COMING UP SAYING LENS ERROR 12 and 27

I'm having the same problem with mine. Happens on rechargeables or brand new standard batteries as well. Very frustrating. I can't take more than 2 videos in a row without the dreaded orange/green lights flashing (low battery warning). Leaving it for 10-20 minutes and it works again, with the battery charge showing full.
