Your question is far too general, as you don't specify which bearings, and each one has a different procedure. Also, the procedure is called overhauling bearings, as you do more than just add grease. You also don't need to look for the procedure for a specific brand/model, so the suggested Google search is not very helpful.

I would suggest you go to Park Tool Co Park Tool Co for both great tools and repair procedures, or . Sheldon Brown Bicycle Technical Information for information and repair procedures. Also, if you get stuck https://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-mechanics is a great resource for advice.

I have the Mongoose XR-100, I pulled all bearings. I clean all bearing races and repack with grease or replace BB. Its my first step in flipping bikes also. Makes a world of difference in the ride. Cheap bike or not.

SOURCE: front suspension to soft on mongoose xr-75

The front forks aren't adjustable, as you probably figured out. You can, however, get harder springs if the springs can be accessed at the top of the fork tube. If not, do what I did on my mountain bike. I bought a better pair of adjustable forks that I found on eBay. It will take a bit of investigation on your part regarding the dimensions of the forks, so you get the correct length and width where the forks fit onto the frame (and the overall desired fork length), but you'll be a lot happier with adjustables.

SOURCE: loose handlebars on a Mongoose XR-75 mountain bike

Check the splines on the handle bar. Just loosen the "clamp" and slide the bar over to one side enough so you can tell if the are stripped or not. If they are then replace the bar, if not then reassemble and try to put a littlle extra torque on the bolt.

I have noticed with the 2 of these bikes that I have that the bars do not like to stay tight for long, they tend to work thier way loose about every other time we use them. I just keep tightening them untill the splines strip, then pick up a new bar.

Contact Mongoose for parts info at: www.Mongoose.com under "about" click ask mongoose.

Good luck.

Mongoose didn't make the chainring. They're generic (like most bike parts) and have many substitutes. Determine the parameters and then go looking for one that fits.

Other parts may also be worn, like the chain.

Personally, here in AUS bikes brought from Wallmart type department stores are very general purpose, meaning not professional, so the price doesn't hold in fact depreciates quite quickly so if you want to know for selling purposes than ask google, eBay, Amazon with words like used whether or not it has been, like unwanted gifts.

If I had to guess I'de say anywhere between $60 and $90 at best, but please feel free to do your own investigation and good luck.

What is the crank bearing size??

Almost all Mongoose models use the standard BSA 68.
I would write a question to them at:
http://mongoosebikes.net/mongoose-bmx-bike/20-mongoose-mode-270-v2-freestyle-bmx-bike/
This bearing should not fail during the normal life of the bicycle, unless the rider weight is over 80 Kg.

Replace crank bearings

There are bearings on both sides, you need a special tool to remove the crankshaft.I'd suggest you get someone who knows how to do it,give you a hand. The tool can be purchased at any bike shop. not sure for how much. Good Luck.
