My Samsung un50eh5000f is playing sound but has no video.
The tv was fully functional, playing a YouTube video for background noise, when we looked up at the screen, it was black and the sound was still playing. I have tried accessing the tv menu and shining a flashlight across the screen to try and see the video, but could not see anything. After removing the back panel and inspecting the boards, I saw no visible damage, no expanded capacitors, no burn marks, no discolored connections.

You have replaced everything that could have gone wrong - except for the video Screen itself. Check the connections (ribbon) to the screen for oxidation - use eraser to clean.

some of them require red , white, blue, green, an yellow audio jacks. make sure you have all the input plugs. or eles the tv will not use plugs it doesnt have.
use the menu setup and tell it how u want it to be configured and make sure tv speakers are on if u are using the tv, if not use the computer settings on the menu, u probaly already have found this out, by looking fully at the onscreen menu.

I have a question which video inputs are you using for your DVD and Wii connections? The reason I ask is because this sounds like video distortion cuased by noise. If possible can you send a picture of the screen when it has this problem and send which video ports are being used?
If it is noise in the video you may have a saw filter problem, or a decoupling issue. In any event I'll know more once you send those pictures and which inputs you are using for your DVD and Wii.
