My JABRA talk periodically makes 4 beeping sounds. What is this?

Beeping when pressing the PTT can be a sign of low or bad batteries. To check to see if this is the problem, move a battery from one of the working radios over into one of the problem radios and see if it solves the problem. It takes more energy to Transmit than to receive, so your radio may receive transmissions, but not be able to transmit. If this is the problem, replace your rechargeable NiMH battery packs. Charge the radio completely (always with the radio shut off. Batteries have an 18-24 month life expectancy.

If this does not solve the problem, check your chargers. Clean the battery contacts and charger contacts with a pencil eraser. Replace any non-working chargers.
