More info would help. Was it working before? For how long? How old is it? Have you checked the wall plug for power with a lamp or a tester? How long did you wait for the system to reset before you plugged it back in? IF the wall plug has power and IF you've waited at least 10 minutes before you plugged it back in, then try this: unplug all of the power cords from each component to the next component until all are unplugged. THEN unplug the main power cord going to the wall plug. Wait 10 minutes, then plug back in all of the power cords to the MAIN UNIT and then plug the main unit (the receiver I would assume) back in the wall. If that doesn't work, something in the HTS itself is blown. Good luck. . .

How do I hook up my coby dvd to my blu ray

There should be an orange rca plug on the back of the blue ray player. That is a digital audio output plug. The Colby has a similar plug. That's the digital audio input. It won't make any difference for the most part what color the your cable is. It could be red or white (one of your stereo plugs of need be). Connect the cable between this two plugs. Viola! (It's wise however to use orange cuz then you could easily distinguish which cable is carrying the digital audio). Make sure that digital audio is selected in your menu.

When turned on no power all I get is dl sc on the player

It's not reading the disc. Either the disc is incompatible or damaged and unreadable. Laser head could need cleaning. If there's a disc in the machine, remove it.

Trying to get my ps3, Emerson hd tv and coby DVD938 home theater all to work together

The DVD938 only has analog audio input (2.1 channel), thats why you have only a white (left channel) and red (right channel) audio connection from your ps3 to the home theatre. There is an option called PROLOGIC in the setup menu that will simulate 5.1 with the 2.1, it basically takes the 2.1 channels and splits it into all the speakers.

I have sound from the coby938 when playing a DVD but not from my tv. I have my directv cable box, my Xbox and m ps3 connected via HDMI cables. How can I get sound out of all three and into the coby938???

Your TV would have to have an AUDIO OUTPUT port (RED/WHITE) and that would go from the back of your TV, to the RED/WHITE input on the DVD938. All your other devices would go directly to your TV. After you do that, you change the input on the DVD938 remote to AUX.

Trying to hook up coby DVD938 to tv. would like to use it for sound to hear tv through speakers even when not playing a DVD. How do I hook it up that way......

Take the red, yellow and white cord and plug it into the back of your cable box and then run it to you tv and then push the Source button on your remote on the Coby until the display says "Line" and there you have it
