If you are alone and unable to call for help to get you to hospital you can try taking deep breaths and coughing hard with each breath as if you were trying to get sputum out of chest. do this every few seconds till help arrives, the deep breath brings in oxygen, what your brain needs to live, the cough compresses the chest which pushes the oxygen to the brain, some times it will even shock the heart into the normal beat. but get to hospital ASAP
Not everyone
has the same symptoms for whooping cough but babies and young children might
have severe coughing spells that make it hard to do every day activities such
