SOURCE: Error code A5 on Frigidaire
I have a Frigidaire model FAK104R1V window air conditioner that did the same AS error code. The problem is going to be one of the 2 temperature sensors in the unit. Mine happened to be the ambient temperature sensor located at the front of the unit. They are fairly easy to replace and you can buy a new sensor for about $15 online.

the water will have leaked into the drip pan underneath, which is installed to protect your floors. Unfortunately, only way to get at it is to pull out dishwasher and remove 3 phillips screws that hold it on. In order to repair leaks, Electrolux came out with a "leak kit", which is part number 154769101. Comes with all parts that they had leak issues with

Depending on the model, normally there is a door at the center of the air duct for the AC. It should be found underneath the dashboard at the center. Normally when the motor of the door is faulty you would not get the correct mix or will not get a constant air temp blowing on the two sides. Have the motor checked out. The other scenario is the thermostat or the temp sensor found near the same location towards the evaporator or the part where you can see the coils if you remove all the cover. Inspect the wiring to that part make sure that there is no exposed wire or loose wire. Either there is an issue with the wiring or the thermostat has gone bad. A bad thermostat would mean no signal to the AC which activates the door to send the correct air temp.
Hello Baldur Thor, thanks for your inquiry!
From what you have described your Electrolux air conditioner is displaying an "E50" error code. I do not show an "E50" has a valid error code. Could you please verify which appliance you are having issues with? Additionally, you could perform a reset on your air conditioner which is disconnecting the power from it for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues please reconnect. -Matt
Thank you for your inquiry, Angela Babin!
From my understanding your Frigidaire air conditioner is displaying an error code "H5". Normally, the error code "H5" stands for heater thermistor error. I would recommend performing a reset on your air conditioner by unplugging it for ten minutes. If that does not help correct the error code it could be a possible problem with your thermistor or control board. I hope this is helpfully. -Matt
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that you are getting an "EC" error code on your Frigidaire air conditioner. However, it appears "EC" is an invalid error code. It is possible that the error code is missing characters? I show that the error code "ES" or "CS" is valid. In the meantime, I suggest resetting your air conditioner. You can do this by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your air conditioner continues to display "EC". I look forward to assisting you. -Matt
Hello Ramona - Could the error code possibly be S or ES? If so, typically that indicates that there is a problem with the evaporator sensor. I would recommend contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair the air conditioner.
