SOURCE: Leaking power washer hose

most auto stores have high pressure connectors and or machines
to make these connections. Also there are radiant heat connectors
that may or may not fit.

SOURCE: karcher k2400hh pressure washer, water pressure cuts out.

Hello cikanek:

Try this:

From your posting, I assume you have removed the splash cap and the nylon bypass valve cover. Connect the water supply to the pump and connect the high pressure hose and wand to the pump outlet. Wad up a small towel and place it over the bypass valve opening to catch the valve insert when it pops out. With the engine throttle closed, pull the starter cord several times to see it the valve insert will pop out. If it doesn't come out after two or three pulls, set the throttle to low and start the engine. I have performed this procedure a number of times and the valve insert always pops out. There is no real danger of the valve parts getting seriously airborn since the actual pump output volume is very low (2.5 Gal/min).

Good luck,
Ed

SOURCE: karcher pressure washer leaking oil

Usually electric pressure washers only have oil on the pump, so its very likely that you will find the problem there. I'd say check all the pump seals and if that doesnt solve the problem, you can check to see if all bolts are tight when you close the pump back.
If by any chance you are looking for a new machine and/or parts for your machine, log in to www.roncoshop.com where you will be able to find pretty much anything for your preassure washer.

Re karcher 480 power washer when trigger on the wand is released no water flows from the wand and there are no leaks from around the machine. But the pump runs on , also i can't turn the machine off .

Take the wand hose off the washer itself and you will likely find a filter outfit that gets plugged up. Take it out and clean it real good. Mine was full of stuff out of the hose that gets in when the hose lays on the ground and stuff gets in. Also if hose has been used to drain anything. My filter was plugged and with the pressure it created the washer would not shut off. There could be a filter in the wand area in some models.

Turn on machine starts then cuts off

Does the unit turn back on after you squeeze the trigger on the wand? If so, your unit is equipped with a high pressure cut off switch.

Karcher k1 leaking from inside casing.

The most likely issue, which seems to occur alot with karcher, is a cracked water pump. What happens is that as you release the trigger on the handle, the rise in pressure should cut off the motor, but as it also cuts off the water flow at the wand end and the motor spins a few more revs until it stops, then there is a huge pressure glitch which blows apart the weak plastic pumps that they use. Since the plastic cracks it is very difficult to repair and the only option is to go and buy another. BUT...this time tape up the trigger on the handle so it is always on and then it won't blow itself up. Just use the unit on/off switch to turn the motor on and off.

My karcher pressure washer is switching on and off when the wand is not being used. the pressure should hold but it appears to cut in and out every 2 secs. the machine works o.k. when pulling the wand...

unfortunately these little units have this problem commonly, 9 times out of 10 it will be the plastic head on the unit will be cracked and leaking slightly... it builds up pressure then leaks out and tries to build up the pressure again and this just reoccurs over and over...

you can get this repaired but is normally about half the cost of a new unit, if the pressure is still okay i would probably recommend just keep using it until it proper dies...

If you do get this fixed, we have studied into this and believe the main cause of heads cracking is warm water say if your inlet hose is in the sun for a period of time this can cause the water to become quite hot or if the unit sits and water trapped inside the head assy freezes can also cause this.

Karcher G 3000 BH Engine Pumping Problem

This may not be a motor problem. It sounds like your pump is not working properly and the motor is just following the pump. First thing to do is check for leaks in the pump, wand hose, gun etc. It may also be a blown water seal inside the pump.

Unable to connect high pressure hose to gun base on Karcher 3.99M

I am presuming when you insert the wand that you are also twisting it into place?
The click usually occurs when the wand is twisted and it locks. Simply pushing it in without twisting will cause water to flow big time as it's not sealed.
If you are doing all correct then the seal is damaged and should be returned for a warranty claim

Pressure surge on and off for 2 seconds w/ new Karcher

It can be one of three conditions,
  1. The water supply in is not sufficient
  2. The pump oil is low
  3. The seals are bad in the pump.
I would check the first one first as this is the most common problem.
The water supply hose should be a high volume hose of at least 1/2 inch but 5/8 inch or greater is best.
