I get a diagnostic code #8 when I turn on my pride gogo elite travel scooter. I read that that is supposed to mean that the motor is disconnected. How do I reconnect it?

hi, 9 bleeps on a go go mean a parking brake fault or motor connection problem , now it could just a be case of a poor connecting however go you confirm the exact controller used ?

Check the brake connections and motor cable connections making sure they are clean and tight.

Trans/axle noise, slow to apply brakes, no available service information

This did not fix anything. However I have found that there is NO service infomation from Pride on these scooters. No shoes, nos shirt, NO SERVICE.
