I just got my bottom loader viva water dispenser working. It is a used one so I started from the bottom up. Finally pump had a discoloration, so was brave and took it apart. It was rusted and the diaphragm was put in wrong.

Some others addressed this issue on Fixya.com before:
Brett 42 said: the water line is froze.. I took a hair dryer and applied it directly to the dispenser for about 10 minutes. I then held down the buttton for approximately 30 seconds and the water began to drip extremely slowly then faster until a small chunk of ice shot out of the dispenser. I believe the reason this happened was that I the temp of my freezer set lower than the fatory setting.
Mike Smith said: "1) remove the tubing connector behind refrig kickplate . Press for water . If no water comes from tube under refrig , then possibly frozen tank but probably not . Probably bad water inlet valve . ( tank is in the lower potrion of the refrig section behind the crispers ) .
2) if water does shoot out , then your freezer door is frozen which requires leaving door open and tapeing light switch closed and tape plastic around freezer section opening so fridge will continue to operate normally . Thawing freezer door could take a day or 2 . 3) You can plug the hoses back togather and walk by occasionally pressing water untill comes out . Lower your freezer temperature setting also ( could be set for too cold)"

I hope this helps you out!

PRIMO BOTTOM LOAD WATER DISPENSER, BLINKING LIGHT

We started getting a blinking light... indicating the jug needed replacement... after installing a full jug. The unit would cycle, then the red blinking light would come back on. Upon careful inspection of the feed tube and lines, it was realized that the plastic line on the intake of the pump body had been inadvertently pulled out just slightly (presumably from jostling the jug around during replacement). I believe that this breaks the seal the unit requires for suction, and caused the fault. I simply pushed the (white) plastic line back into pump body and heard an audible 'click'. Unit works fine now. I hope this helps, as these units are not exactly cheap.

Vitapur bottom water dispenser first it was not giving hot water at all. I removed all the water and left it unplugged for a whole day then plug It back and full water jug now red light blinking?

Question edited for typo 'not' to 'hot'.

Having the model number is useful in these questions.

According to this, a red flashing light means the water is heating. If it never goes to steady red, it may indicate that the heating element may have failed.
