I cut them out of washable furnace filters. I got it at Home Depot.

i would have to say no i cant find online rival selling individual parts for these models. But i wouldnt assume the heating element is blown. If you feel you can take it apart look and make sure that all the wires are properly connected to the heating element and that none of them shorted out.
If thats not the case then there isnt much you can do as this is not a commercial/industrial model. I know no one likes to hear that.

My timer knob also broke and I cannot find one and I am still looking.

I had this same problem which is how I came across your post, and I found on the Rival website ( www.rivalproducts.com ) you can email the company and tell them the model number and they will email you the manual, and if you're like me and hate to wait that long, you can call their customer service number and tell them what you need and they will email you the manual in about an hour. The number the website gave me was  1-800-323-9519, and I also realized there was also a number on the box too.

I wouldnt suggest it
