Which rca wires are for sub - RCA Car Audio & Video

Yes, on two conditions:

1) the JX-S900 needs to be a proper matrix switcher. It has to have the ability to route 1 input to more than one output.

2) the sub signals need to be low level RCA/phono, and not high level speaker wire connections. That's not just about the type of connector. It's about the signal going through those wires. A low level RCA/phono sub connection conducts a maximum 0.7 Volt. A speaker wire connection can transmit 30 Volts! If you put 30 Volts in to a line level switching device such as the JX0S900 you'll fry it.

Provided that the above two criteriia are both met, then yes it will work.

• Connect the AV receiver's sub out to Source 1 - white RCA phono.

• Connect the two subs mono LFE Left input (white RCA) or the single black RCA/phono inputs to the JVC's outputs 1 and 2 - white RCA/phono.

• Set the source routing: input 1 goes to output 1 and 2

The head unit should have a RCA Sub Out. The RCA wire goes to the Sub Amplifier, along with power, ground, and a blue remote wire from the Head Unit. Next, the Sub Amp is wired to the Subwoofer with speaker wire. Without an amplifier your sub won't make any noticeable sound.

FRONT Right SPKR: +Gray -Gray/Blk,
FRONT Left SPKR: +White -White/Blk,
REAR Right SPKR: +Purple -Purple/Blk,
REAR Left SPKR: +Green -Green/Blk

Brown Wire = Phone Mute Lead (If applicable)
Yellow Wire = 12V battery lead in (Connect directly to battery)
Red Wire = 12V Ignition wire (Connect to Acc switch)
Blue/White Wire = Amp turn on lead
Black Wire = Chassis Ground
Orange/White Wire = Illumination Lead (Connect to dimmer switch)
Blue Wire = Auto Antenna Lead (lowers power antenna Do not use for Amp Turn on! Use the Blue/White Wire for Amp,EQ, Ect.. turn on wire only

RCA Connectors if applicable:

Black RCA Harness:
White RCA = Rear Audio Left Sub Output 1
Red RCA = Rear Audio Right Sub Output 2

Gray RCA Harness:
White RCA = Front Left Audio Out to amp
Red RCA = Front Right Audio Out to amp

Usually dont use 2 amps for 2 subs you can run 1 amp and two subs which is more common. But what i need to know is which cables if you are talking power cables or rca cables. If Rca then then go ahead wire together. Power is a different story and I need to know what you are pushing

You can y out from the main out to the sub.This output is post volume control. set level on sub to desired balance of lows feq to highs

Yes you can modify RCA cables to make bare wire tails.
If the unit has a sub o/p then you just connect up your sub bass unit to whatever the amp needs.

An RCA cable is 2 wire which is all you would normally need for sub bass speaker level signal.
It may be a good idea to eventually upgrade the wire size if you want really good sub bass as lower frequencies draw more current and so require more copper.

first of all is the amp a four way amp? if so then you need to know what the watts of the subs are (you dont want to melt them) wire + and - of channels 1 and 2 to one sub and + and - of channel 3 and 4 to second sub, nice thick lead from battery positive (fused) to positive terminal on amp thick lead from a good earth point to negative terminal on amp run a set of rca leads down the opposte side to the positive wire to prevent interference, run thin wire from remote wire of radio to the remote terminal of amp, rca's are plugged in at stereo and at the am. may need a RCA splitter to be able to power all four channels

on your CD deck or what ever unit you plugged the RCA wires to needs to be set on subs the radio needs to be set to put sound to your amp.....on your CD player if you press the F/function button a few times it will scroll to SW which is for the subs set this to the on position or if your CD player has a button with SW press it and turn on this feature......if this has been done......check the fuse or fuses on the amp.......if you have done all of the above check the back of the CD unit to make sure you are plugged into sub-woofer RCA or R (rear) RCA ..........sometimes people accidentally put the RCA wires into the aux input RCA,,,,,, double check this.........

In order for this to work, you will need an external amplifier. Your receiver is set up to use a "powered" sub. With only speaker connections on the sub, it is a "passive" sub requiring a separate amp.
