SOURCE: Mitsubishi Wd-52525 HDTV Stutis light constant red

Here is the link to the manual if you need it; http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/pdf/MIT_WD-52525_WD-62525_WD-52725_WD-62725_Manual.pdf page 97 states that the lamp is the problem -(the flashing green just means startup - page 11) 14 months sounds about right for a new lamp if you use it a lot - that would be an average of 5&1/2 hours a day if the lamp went to 4000 hrs - although these lamps are more dependable than normal lamps, they can still fail anytime especially if they have been touched on the glass by accident while installing or cleaning, or if the tv is often switched on and off. The fact that there was no message on screen may mean that the lamp has not gone past the warning trigger number of hours - sorry i haven't found what that value is. page 95&96 gives all instructions how to replace lamps and where to get spares - if the price seems bad then search around - prices often vary a lot on these lamps. It is a little disappointing that mitsubishi where not able to diagnose this - please let them know that their technical service is poor in the hope that they try harder. I hope this helps :) Hope this helps :)

Good day, anniedooday;

Your TV's color wheel is bad. Call an authorized service dealer to repair this. It's not an easy job.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

SOURCE: green status light keeps blinking after lamp replacement

continuous blinking green light indicates that the capacitors have failed on the DM pwb. You need the V26 DLP DM repair kit which is available at the following link under their repair category.

Mitsubishi TV troubleshooting
Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:
12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

If you see absolutely nothing on the screen then you may have a problem with the Lamp unit. If you can see around the back of the TV look to see if there is a vented opening with a noise of a fan and a rather bright light. If you see there is no light then try a reset (hold power button for at least 10 seconds). Turn the TV back on and the green LED should flash for a bit. If you still have no picture or video of any type (completely black screen) and have sound only you probably have a bad lamp. These lamps are around $125 or so and can be bought on Amazon or other sites that sell these parts. It's fairly simple to replace but make sure that the tv is unplugged and securely re-install the access door. Hope this helped.

Mitsubishi lamp

Sometimes the same symptom can be caused by the lamp driver (ballast) failing. Also make sure the lamp door and filter door are fully closed. Unplug for 1 min to reboot. When it turns on, you will hear the fans (airflow sound) and then colorwheel spin up (high pitched) and finally the lamp will fire. If the lamp is bad, you will hear the spark gap make a buzz sound for 1 second.. it will retry a few times before shutting down
