WE have a 2.5 year old Jacuzzi J-210 hot tub that plugs into an outside outlet that is a GFI; power has been shutting down; when we tap the plug and reinsert it, the spa power returns. Why is this?

Shut power down and replace outlet, GFIC only last so long, and if they have been tripped a lot they wear out, again shut off the power to the outlet before doing any work.

Circuit braker keep popping

Sounds like the heating element has gone out again. Once you reset the circuit breaker and the tub turns on it will start to circulate the water. This usually runs like this for about 2 mins and then the tub will recognize it is cold and send power to the heater. If the element is back at that point it will blow the circuit breaker.
If this circuit breaker pops as soon as you turn it on then you most likely have a bad circuit board.

What's youI just wired in my J-300 Jacuzzi hot tub. The GFI trips every time I reset it. I took the GFI out of the equation and the tub runs fine, does not trip the breaker at the main breaker box

#1. DO NOT GET INTO TUB FULL OF WATER WITH A GROUND FAULT.
2. There is a short. You need to get multimeter and start checking each part for current running to ground wire.
3) Power is ON. Connect power without GFCI.
4) Tape tester leads to wood sticks to keep hands away from power.
5) Do not touch anything directly or you will become the ground rod.
6) Ground wire must be present, and bonded back to main panel box.
7) Do not sit or touch directly on cement or bare ground. Do not touch or lean into anything made of metal.
8) Body and parts must be on sheet of plywood, or similar non-conductive dry surface.
9) Test each part with spa, but also test electric line coming from main box.
10) GFCI will also trip with any fault detected on line. So the wire coming to spa may have the fault.
11) Add a new dedicated line from main box to spa.

When I try to turn off my Jacuzzi tub it will not turn off. I pushed the gfi and it went off. I then reset it a few days later and the tub would not turn off and this time the gfi would not shut it off. ...

You will need to have a technician from the store you purchased it from install a new switch.

To be up to code, you should have a GFI for your Jacuzzi to plug into and a GFI circuit breaker dedicated only for your Jacuzzi. I

If you already have it, that's great, but if not check with an electrician for installation.

My jacuzzi tub will not come on . fist it was making a humming sound , i turned it off checked the reset plug tried to turn it on and not a sound

mine did the same thing. the tub is plugged into a ground fault interupter (gfi) plug. hit the reset button. if this doesn't work, check the circuit the gfi is on, sometimes they are on the same circuit as the plugs at the sink. check them for reset also. if this fails, on the motor of the tub, there should be a reset button. try to reset it. OH first make sure the breaker has not been tripped.

Jacuzzi hot tub, aero select. pops circuit breaker as soon as switch is thrown. I disconected both motors and panel. still blows. Unit is about 8 Years old. Is there anywhere I can get a schmatic or any...

Your Jacuzzi should be connected to a large GFI breaker. If it pops as soon as you turn something on, there is an imbalance between the legs supplying the power to your device. When my (small "J") jacuzzi (at about age 15) did this, I discovered a small leak that had dripped onto the circuit board and had left a deposit causing a "short". I was able to clean the deposit off of the board physically, I fixed the leak and return my tub to service.

The GFI is very sensitive and for good reason. It protects you from dangerous electric voltages, even though the danger is low.

Jacuzzi nova 532 motor run's but won't stay running

If it has the little oval off/on button, it sounds like the control box or off/on button is bad. If you have access to the pump assembly, follow the pump power cord to the little black box (zip tied to a tube up high), this black box has a small cable that goes to the off/on button. unplug the pump from the box and plug the pump into the power outlet. it should run continuously. If it runs, you need a new control box or /offon button. Buy the off/on button first, as this button is prone to water getting into it, and costs less than the control box.
