Hello. A mouse has chewed through the dispenser hose (hose between soap dispenser & drum) on my Fagor FU6146IT washing machine. Is it the sort of thing I can replace myself? Thank you!

Mice are helpful little creatures...

Mostly if you can take the top off the machine yourself you should be able to replace the hose yourself.

SOURCE: LG WM2277HS - water backing up into soap dispenser

The pipe from the soap dispenser to the tub is quite large, it seems as if the water isn't getting out of the dispenser quick enough. Pull the whole dispenser out of the machine. There is a release clip at the back of the cup with the tray fully open. Clean out all soap residue and scum. Sometimes there is also a spot or setting for liquid or powder detergent. Adjust accordingly. Reassemble and try it again.

SOURCE: Lg tromm front loading washing machine has

Yes the system is cloghed. Pull the detergent drawer out and clean the drawers housing. try using some bleach. It allways helps.

BE ADVICED: after using bleach run quick wash cycle on without any load, it's just to get rid of all bleech remains and not to damage your clothes

There are different tips, In order for the unit to siphon the soap you need to use the tip that is for detergent. Its basically a tip that does not produce a high pressure it's more or less a soaker. Unit won't siphon under pressure. I hope this answer your question please rate the answer if it was helpful. Good Luck and have a great day. Jeff

My candy cna 145 will not let water into drum. all just floods out of soap dispenser

It sounds as though there is a soap powder blockage in the dispenser or the dispenser hose in to the drum.
Try pushing into the hose with something to clear the blockage.

F02 error code on Fagor FU6146IT

This is your lucky day my friend. Your drain hose anywhere from right underneath the drum to the filter is clogged. Clear out the surprising amount of lint and you'll be just fine. :-)

Water and soap remains in the soap tray

You need to check for blockage in dispenser, remove completely and thoroughly clean every part of it.
Other possibility is not enough water pressure to take all powder down, check water pressure, filters in hoses if fitted..
Check hose from dispenser to drum for restriction.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Water overflowing from dispenser, no error codes

check the holes of the dispenser, could be clogged with soap and liquid detergent. check the hose where the dispenser flows to the drum, it could be clogged also. open the door, trace the dispenser hose that is attached to the drum or to the big rubber gasket at the front. check and see if there is dirt accumulation or soap clogging the hole.

WFR 2460 Front loader

We went through the whole "clean the soap dispenser" deal and results were the same. Exploratory surgery revealed that the Prewash hose (for lack of better term), which connects from the top of the drum housing to the right side of the dispenser drawer (facing the machine)was completely clogged with gunk. Especially strange since we don't prewash hardly anything, ever. The hose that connects the bottom of the detergent dispenser with the side of the drum housing did have a lot of buildup, but I do not believe it was the cause because this was only happening on the rinse cycle. I also found the flow meter was frozen up.

SOAP DISPENSER HOSE

take both star screws from under lugs on either side of the lid remove that then take soap drawer out if screws are not visable remove front facia panel the same screws which hold the facia will also hold the soap drawer in place as you lift the drawer you will be able to undo the hose to the drum.

LG front loader problem

If you remove the top cover you will see the soap dispenser unit on the left. It has a large rubber hose connecting it to the drum. If you remove two screws at the front you can free the dispenser for maintenance. You can undo the clips on the various hoses and check that they are clean.

Some people report some dripping from the soap dispenser even when the hose is unblocked. This seems to be a design fault.
