I think I found you a free online manual at: http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/900000-924999/908638-an-01-en-NITHO_DRIVE_PRO_V16_LENKRAD_PC_PS3.pdf
I hope this helps you out!
SOURCE: User's Manual
Here's the doc. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/fattach_get.php?p_sid=O93g6hJi&p_li=&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_tbl=9&p_id=3590&p_created=1145051644&p_olh=0 Don't waste your time. The User's Guide (or simply the Quick Start Guide) is essentially useless. By the way, if you wanna waste about an hour of your time on the logitech customer support line, you will learn that their website is also relatively useless. The support staff somehow knew the secret search code "3590" and what to do with it... * Go to www.logitech.com * Click on support (small print along top of window) * Click on troubleshooting (big red ball icon) * In the SEARCH box, type "3590" * Click on the only link that returns from the search * Scroll down until you see the PDF file icon. OR you can just click on it here... http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3590&p_created=1145051644&p_sid=O93g6hJi&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MSwxJnBfcHJvZHM9MCZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9JnBfY3Y9JnBfc2VhcmNoX3R5cGU9YW5zd2Vycy5zZWFyY2hfbmwmcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD0zNTkw&p_li=&p_topview=1 I'm curious why you are looking for it. I happened to purchase the DFP wheel on CraigsList only to find it lights up the LEDs but otherwise doesn't work!!! I spent hours searching on the web for possible solutions. I thought the User's Guide might give me some insight. No Such Luck. So now I'm contemplating cracking it open and dusting off my electrical engineering skills to debug it :-( Any pointers?
It could be the game not being compatible with the wheel, but it could be the wheel too. Ask the friend you got it from which games he played with it and see if you can borrow that game. Test it with that game to see if it works. If so, the Cars game is not compatible with the wheel. If this is not the case, the wheel is faulty. You can try to clean it by disassembling it and cleaning it from the inside, but many analog controllers can break pretty easily, and if that's the problem, the wheel is pretty much dead. I hope that the Cars game is not compatible.
