My uniden phone rings and goes to answering machine in 2 rings

i downloaded the owners manual from uniden at the link above , and from what i see its on page 26 of this pdf manual ,

enter the answer set up menu , and then the ring time sub menu , press volume up / down to select a ring time ( toll saver , 2 times , 4 times or 6 times ) then press the "OK" soft key , you will hear a confirmation tone . good luck

If the machine won't go past 4 rings (which it should somewhere in the answering machine settings menu) you could always change your greeting to a message that tells the caller to wait a few more moments for you to answer, while you get to the phone....

This is for a 5.8 GHz uniden. Hit "menu/clock" then use volume up and down key to select number of rings and then below "menu/clock" hit "set". That should it.
