I can't get exe program to open on ideapad 100S

its in your free manual (i guess too airplane mode enabled)
download it and use it and for next time wifi goes dead.
first off 1000s is wrong,its 100s, one too many zero's
makes finding the book 10x harder, so.. they list 2.

what ISP do you have( service provider) we do not know that.
this PC has this the first one below is called WIFI
so you need local wifi to have internet.

just because the battery is inside, does not magically

Your motherboard's BIOS may need updating.
1. Plug in AC power adaptor
2. Log in as the Administrator.
3. Download the latest XP BIOS update here.
4. Run the 14cn67ww.exe program
5. Run the flashxp.bat program and wait for the computer to restart automatically.

For Example :A notepad file will be open by Notepad editor untill and unless you cange it to open with other program.

Microsoft Word can open a notepad file too.

U have to install the hot key drivers available on consumersupport.lenovo.com and if u are not able to install then just install the energycut software shiopped with the machine.
When u will install go C:>windows>program files>energycut and there will be utility.exe file, run that file.
The issue should be fixed.
