Why does my Polaroid tablet not connect to my wifi when it used to and all my other devices do?

The make and model of the tablet is the important bit missing in this question. There may be a security setting to 'Enable Hotspots' as they can be a security issue allowing access to the device.

Restart your device.

If it is your WiFi, unplug everything involved with it for 30 seconds and then plug it all back in.

Make sure wifi is turned on.

Make sure that you are trying to connect to a WiFi signal that you know you can connect to. Not all WiFi signals are ones we can connect to with our tablets, phones, and computers. Try connecting to another signal, or try having another device connect to the one you can't connect to to see if it is a device trouble, or an individual WiFi signal issue.

You likely have a setting to turn on WiFi. This option is to save your battery, as WiFi drains your battery if it is on continuously. If it is turned off, you will never receive a WiFi signal.

Try using Polaroid's Support Site to reset your device.

As per Polaroid, Firmware updates will restore your Tablet back its original state from when you first powered on the device.

I wrote in another post that any valuable info on your Tablet is going to get erased during the update.

If your Tablet screen is still not functioning, then you have a hardware issue. typically, the manufacturer has a one year warranty. I found this number online, so call them at 877-768-8481

It can't find the network. Check your wifi router settings and make sure the wifi adapter on your tablet is ON. If problem consists, try connecting to a different network. If that fails, you probably need to get the tablet repaired.

Restart your tablet and try again. Do you have another device that can connect to your wifi? Is your password correct that you entered? It could be something on the internet side or you could be out of range of the wifi signal.
