Press and hold the "Answer/End" button for about five seconds. When you hear "Pairing Mode," the speaker is now discoverable by other Bluetooth devices. Turn on your cell phone;s bluetooth connectivity. Once your cell phone has found the HFS001 it will ask for a pairing code the code is "0000". The phone will then connect to the HFS001. Enjoy your hands free experience!
The reason is you need a four digit code in order to pair your Bluetooth to your phone. Also, your phone has to be 'Able to be found', ie, set your Bluetooth settings on your phone, so that the phone is in 'Discoverable Mode' and ensure the Bluetooth setting itself is also turned on.
Once your phone is Bluetooth discoverable, try and pair the devices again. Your phone will find your headset and ask if you would like to pair the two devices. Obviously, select Yes/Pair and it will then require a 4 digit code for authentication. With Jabra the code is always "0000" (4 zero's). Once you enter the 4 zero's, the two units will then pair successfully.
Just did it myself. Ensure the iPhone is discoverable and searching.
Switch the Stone off by squeezing down the control surface until it bliddle-omps. Put it into pair mode by squeezing the thang again until the bluetooth light flashes. Keep squeezing. Watch the iPhone - it will pair automatically - no password required.
You have to first put the Headset into discoverable mode. According to the Jabra website, this is done by pressing and holding the end/mute button until the light comes on steady. Follow the procedure for your phone to pair a bluetooth device to it. The PIN code will be 0000.
But in case they drop support soon, turn the beastie on, press and hold the Vol+ and Answer Call buttons till the "on" light goes solid. You're now in discover mode.
ok i finally found out.. Turn on the jabra unit once on hold the answer button AND the volume up button at same time till u get solid blue light... It will flash like 8 times then go solid... At that point it can b found by all ur devices... the passcode is 0000... Enjoy
within connections settings on your phone your jabra will always be discivered if you have set your bluetooth within phone to be on all the time, when you switch on head set it will be automatically picked up by your phone.hope this helps
