I have a 1994 jcb 214 sitemaster backhoe steering is stuck in crab mode and will only move second gear but if I step on the brake it work in all gears

Sounds like you have a sensor wire crossed or out of connection. Touching the brake makes the brake light come on and is doing a re-connect. Check that out, it's gotta be in the electrical system as you can now understand. Something is crossfeeding and/or backfeeding power to where it shouldn't.

Needs a clutch. Not cheap your gonna have to pull the transmission the clutch pack is reasonable 150.00 to 225.00 its the labor that is expensive. Don't recommend doing it yourself unless you are up to the task and have the ability and the tools, some special alignment clutch tools. ASE master certified mechanic.

I need to know where the bleeding screw for brakes on jcb214e backhoe

most of those type of equipment have inboard brakes in the axle tubes of the rear gear assembly i.e. follow your brake lines from the master cylinder to the rear axle assembly, the lines usually go in and to a caliper and another line comes out to a bleeder tip nipple ,some models are actually inside the axle tubes them selves requiring disassembly of the wheels ,axle tubes etc. until you get to the inboard rotors and calipers ,major work for such a minute ordeal this is done to keep the system protected believe it or not,i would obtain yourself a model repair manual if i were you or you could also go to jcb and ask them for a photo copy of the entire brake hydraulic system

Looking for JCB 803 Digger Manual

Speak to JCB and ask them to fax over the parts breakdown for this block. It's aluminium, and we had a split in the block which a specialist welder repaired for us. It has to be a specialist otherwise the block will twist or distort and the many little rubber seals will not work properly afterwards. Worth getting a new seal kit from jcb, about £80 i think.
