Frigidaire water stopped working...ice maker.dispenser fine

I replaced the water valve assembly. The water line works fine but no water is coming to the ice maker, The arm locks in the shutoff postion but falls freely in the on posiotion

You probably have an obstruction in filter compartment. you should remove filter and inspect o rings etc. or anything that could have clogged it up. The only other thing that could be the cause is a bad water valve. Side by sides have a double water valve. one for water ,one for ice maker. You can check this by having someone flip ice maker arm down so it calls for water and feel water valve as it runs and possibly hear it too. Hope this helps.
