I have a kx85 engine i need to know what year it is so i can get a new crankshaft for it . Engine number is KX085CE009452 . Any help would be appreciated.

Based on the engine number (KX085CE009452), it appears that your KX85 engine is a 2000 model year. Here's how we can break down the code:
KX: Identifies the model as a Kawasaki KX dirt bike.
085: Indicates the engine displacement as 85cc.
C: Represents the year code, with "C" corresponding to 2000.
E: Denotes the engine type (not applicable for determining the year).
009452: Serial number specific to your individual engine.
Therefore, you should be looking for a crankshaft compatible with a 2000 Kawasaki KX85 engine when searching for a replacement.
Search online parts databases: Several online platforms allow you to search for parts using the engine number and filter by year. However, double-check the information with a reliable source before purchasing.

I am looking to check and see if by the stamp on my kawasaki motorcycle engine you can tell me what year and model the engine is

The engine number is worthless. The frame number is the key. If your bike is 1980 or so, pray that it has 17 alpha numeric digits in the number. Les than 17 and finding the information requested is pretty hard. If it does have 17 digits, go to this website http://www.motoverse.com/tools/vin/kawasaki.asp tombones49_296.gif

Panasonic home theater sound system with no sound. The display shows D-IN with W1 flashing to the right and what looks like PII above the flashing W1.

Actual model numbers make this much easier. "D-IN" could mean you have the input labeled "D-IN" selected, in which case the upstream source device and cable need to be looked at to find out why it's digital signal is silent.

Product Manuals answer most questions if consulted.

Maybe run "panasonic w1 error" with your model included through a search engine or look at the manual.

Need year of engine

The frame number is the Vehicle Identification Number. If the engine is the original engine, then the engine is the same year as decoded from the frame number. If it is not the original engine, you are hosed as to determining the year of the engine. The engine numbers will not identify what year the engine is. The only identifier is the frame number. Engine numbers are useless since they only denote the engine size, assembly plant, and sequence of that engine in a production run. You can go to the site below and enter the frame number into the VIN decoder to get the year and other information. Note; back in 1985 the manufacturers adopted 17 digit VIN. If you have less than 17 digits you are out of luck. Please rate my answer. Thanks. http://www.motoverse.com/tools/vin/kawasaki.asp

A Kawasaki lawnmore engine has no spark Not sure

This engine is made for a "Self Servicing OEM" That means I can not get information on the exact spec of the model you have but I looked up a different spec that has the same basic hardware.
This engine has an igniter.
Call a local shop like www.arcolawn.com or order online the kawasaki

On the oil fill port, there will be a number with cc after it. That is how many cc's of oil your crankcase holds. There are 946cc in one quart.

Hope this helps,
