Green light flashing means printer is in printing process. No problem. If you want to stop printing. delete printing job from printer properties or stop printing from status monitor.

Epsons usually give you an option to "clean the heads." Look for any Epson software on the computer, or it might be hidden within the "Properties" of that printer (in Control Panel).
Make sure that the head can move on the carriage bar as this indicates a head assembly lock or jam. Make sure all the paper paths are clear and there is no tiny piece of paper stuck. Power it back on. If this does not resolve then you will need a visit to the repair shop or buy a new printer which is probably cheaper!
I had the same prob, but found out it was caused by the carriage not
being able to move - if the inkbay door is ajar even a tad it causes an
obstruction.
I'd open it up and look around for any paper jams or obstruction, clear
out any pending print jobs, then turn it off for a while...I did this
once and it's humming along now...hope this helps!
mine did that. it was a full cartridge and it was still saying it was empty. tech support told me i had to reset the chip but mine was a refilled cartridge. then everything worked fine but i had the reseter
