I am trying to find out my internet connection password to acess Safari on my itouch but nobody in my family seems to know the password. How can i find the password on my computer ?

Connect the iTouch to the internet by going to Settings>WIFI>and select a network. After its connected, Open Safari.

This is due to your router, not your iPod. I've had to reset the router several times in s row before I could connect to the internet. I'm not sure why the third time worked when the first two didn't. My suggestion is to keep trying repeatedly.

try connecting your ipod back to the computer and itunes and update the software on it that has helped a lot of other people

maybe you need to reconfig your wireless router. and try to clear history,cookies, and cache from safari.

I had exactly the same problem with a brand new 3rd gen iTouch. It showed it was connected to the network but wouldn't access anything (invalid argument etc). I tried everything but no joy. Eventually I fixed it by changing the router's encryption from WEP to WPA2-PSK. Fixed it like magic. Where there had been no router or DNA data before, they were suddenly filled in. The key was different but was still on the bottom of the router. I had to re-enter the key on my wireless laptop but that was a small price.

You can get into the router set-up page through your web browser. I found a guide on You Tube.

I would try reseting the router if it is yours that you are trying to get on. Then make sure all the setting inside the router are set to default. you can access these by typing 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 then admin admin. Your ipod touch should be set to default setting also (DHCP and HTTP Proxy off)

You might need to get a new version of safari for your itouch.

I FIXED MINE THIS MORNING!!!

try this! If your iTouch says you are connected to your network but you can't surf and you've been able to connect in the past...you have to reset your network connections on your iTouch.

Go to Settings
Go to General
Go down to Reset
Go to Reset Network Settings
It will ask for your iTouch Passcode...enter it
Then, hit the red "Reset Network Settings"
After that, go back to "Wi-Fi" in Settings...
...and connect to your network again. It might ask you for your WEP password, if it does, enter it.
The IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router and DNS fields should now have entries in them.
Surf Away!!

Hit "Forget this Network", go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network. Worked for me.
