Why can I see and play some of my games from the ipad which saves to icloud or is connected to facebook on the nuvision tablet and others I cannot.

Here are a few pointers I have for you when gaming on the new iPad:

• Turn down your screen brightness. This is the best way for you to avoid heating issues. Your new iPad probably came out of the box with brightness turned all the way up. If you turn that down you will notice a decrease in heat immediately.
• Use Wi-Fi instead of 4G LTE whenever possible. Now obviously you can't do this everywhere, but whenever possible you should access the internet via Wi-Fi and avoid riding your 4G LTE chip. That baby is power hungry and will heat up quick.
• Give your A5X chip a break. In less technical terms, try not to play graphics heavy games (like Infinity Blade) for an extended period of time. Like you said in your question, that's when you experience the most heat discomfort. If it is at all possible for you to take even a short break (like 10 minutes every hour) from gaming, it should do a lot to keep the heat down.
