How do I make the watch band smaller?

to adjust the size of your wrist...eat chocolate!
most watches with linked wristbands require the links removing.(small pins to b e pushed out) the type with the chain links usually have a clamp to release to slide the clasp up the band. the instructions should be with the watch manual. or ask a jeweler to help.

please post pictures if need more help so i can see the design

I have bought citizen watch JR3080-51L , and I need some more links because I got a watch that is good for 7" wrist and I need 8.5" wrist. Thanks

I've had to get extra links before, especially for ladies SS and gold bands. Sometimes a local dealer will have spares that will fit your watch. But, the best source I've found is Ebay. Let me know if you have the stock band or something else. I'll try to help you locate some extra links, or another replacement band at a modest cost. Thanks, Bill

I need replacement links to add size to the band.

Do you stil have the manual/instructions? I would contact any support number that is listed as GUCCI is the only place to get original links. Most watch companies will allow extra links with watch purchase. Contact them via your waranty/manual.
Best regards.

I cant open my brand new watch ...HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

I just recieved a Moldavo Men's Junior Sport (Model # 0605105 with certificate of authenticity) as an award -- but the instructions didn't bother explaining how to put the watch on!

For any hidden clasp band, see this web page (excerpt below):
http://www.worldofwatches.com/cust/sizingwatch.asp?d=0

Refer to the "Hidden Clasp" diagram and follow the instructions under the diagram:

cad9c3e.jpg To open this clasp, reach under the bracelet band and lift upwards. The band extends to allow for easy removal.

Shortening the Length of a Metal Wrist Band

I just did this for my wife's new Kenneth Cole wrist watch rather easily. You don't need a screwdriver, but a short section of a paper clip will do. I just set the band on a raise surface to allow room for the pin to be pushed out using the paper clip. For this watch, one side of the pin resembles the slotted side of a small screw - but it is not a screw. This is the side that bulges up a bit to help the pin stay in place. I believe if you punch it out from the opposite side it will fall off quickly, but if you do from the bulged side it, too, will come out but with some resistance. To reattach the band you need to punch the pin into the slot in such a way that its bulged side is on top otherwise you may end up with a bent pin. You must also first line up the hole with the paper clip before reinserting the pin. Good luck.
