Of course, you can. This is done often. If you use a zipper foot to sew down the placket, you may not need to remove the buttons.

Yes you can. Be careful to remove the buttons. It could be nice to sow a decorative ribbon where you sow the front together. Good luck

Press down on the pedal and needle doesn't move.

Disappointing indeed. Did you buy it new or secondhand? If new, it is under manufacturers warranty. Husqvarna are reliable machines.

If it is used, undo the screws on the bottom of the foot pedal and you will see a wire track. Spray it with electrical switch cleaner. You can spray the button as well.

McCall’s dress pattern m7536. Making dress A but don’t understand how to attach lining.

It's difficult to help since we don't know what the instructions say. You might take your project and the pattern instructions to the local fabric store and see if some of the helpful people there will give you some guidance.

I need help with burda 7187

Usually with a wrap dress, you join front triangular pieces to bodice back at shoulders and side seams (often leaving a slit open in one side seam to pull the tie through). Then stay stitch neck and front edges to prevent stretching. Then neaten neck edges turn and stitch, or attach a facing. Probably if this pattern has a facing then you may need to attach skirt to waist and also attach the tie ends to the front edge before facing is attached. So when you turn facing to inside you will have the tie end in position at the point of the bodice/skirt seam on both sides of the dress.

I use Aleene's Jewel-It glue. Not sure you can buy it somewhere close to you, but it is great for this kind of job.
Check the link to see the glue.

I have lost the zipper foot and button hole foot, and I have a wedding dress and 5 bridesmaid dresses to make....have tried everywhere, where can I get new feet????

I've found replacement feet at Jo-ann's and Hancock's. The most important thing to know is whether your machine is a low shank, high shank, or slant shank. Other than that, or perhaps (depending on where you live) a a full-service sewing machine retailer or maybe a quilt shop, you'll need to order them online. Try http://sewingpartsonline.com/ they have a qood selection of pressure feet. I've found that pretty much, within the low shank, high shank, and slant shank categories, feet are pretty much interchangeable.

Good luck!
