My generac generator had a red lcd light for low battery...i replaced it but now generator wont start and i am unable to reset warning light because there is no power to the screen

Make sure that the throttle linkage is all there and not damaged/misadjusted, then get a manometer and check your inlet gas pressure. Gas pressure should be 8 inches of water column and stay there running or not.

Sounds like Generator mode switch should be "ON".

With the 2005 Monterey, you need to activate the system check by pushing one of the command buttons on the lower dash right of steering wheel. Have it do a system check where it will cycle through the various things that it monitors (i.e. door, lighting brake lights, ect.). It will come to the tire pressure and ask if you want to reset it, simply push and hold the reset button and the light will/should go off.
