NO Picture My TV just shut off a few weeks ago. I plug it in the socket, and I get no sound or TV. I look through the vent holes in the back of the TV, and I don't see light. I don't hear anything when I turn on the power. As if no power is going through. Expert, can you help out?

I've never done this before. How can I tell which one are fuses to my tv? I opened it last night, and there's dust all over. Thanks!

Check fuses, if they are good, check power wire, if it is good, you can order a dead tv kit from here

Sound but no picture

this happened to me about a week ago. It was my cable box. If you have a cable box, unplug it from the electrical socket Wait about 30 seconds and plug it back in. give the box time to gather all info and then retry the tv.

LG 42 LCD no sound or picture

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.

Won't turn on

those tvs will try 3 times before completely shutting down. you can try and take the back off and check CP150 it is a large capactior located near the middle of the board on the left hand side(looking from back) if it looks and feels like the top is vented or puffed out then that could be the problem. if not i suggest having a qualified service tech take a look because there are too many things that could be the root cause.

Tv is unresponsive

Does your set have a reset button on it? It sounds like we had the same problem from the beginning. In fact, we have bought and exchanged the tv 3 times because we thought maybe we just had a lemon. The picture would freeze and no buttons would fix it. We read in the owners manual about the reset button -- a tiny hole in the top of the power button on the right side of the tv. You can use the end of a paper clip and stick it in the hole to reset the tv. The tv powered off and then the remote and all the other buttons worked. Ours is still in the warranty but for the first month, it seemed like this happened at least 5 or 6 times. Haven't decided if we want to try to exchange it again or just live with it. Other than this, we love it!
