Downgraded to Win XP. Cant find graphic & audio drivers HP G7000

Original OS was Windows Vista. Drivers not available on HP website as downgrade is apparently not supported. Don't want to go back to Vista as it is too slow. What's the best way forward.

What do you need the drivers for. What is not working.

Hi,
You can make the Vista a bit faster by turning off some services which you don't use, using a good antivirus software which is also light on the system. Also, you can add more RAM. Then when Windows 7 is released, you can install that. Windows 7 is faster and better compared to Vista.

Hope this helps. For more assistance please reply. Thanks.

Audio and graphics driver

If you have already downgraded your computer from Vista to Windows XP, you have probably discovered that your PC does not work properly. You may have noticed that features like sound, DVD, or the webcam on your new PC have stopped working. You are probably wondering where you can find the right XP drivers. HP does NOT provide XP-compatible drivers for PCs that were designed exclusively for Vista. If your PC shipped with Vista, HP supports the installed hardware and software while the PC is operating with the Vista operating system, according to the written agreements.

You may attempt to use non-Vista drivers and programs that are provided by other companies; however, HP cannot provide technical support or diagnose potential hardware issues until you reinstall the original Vista operating system

so if you want us to find you working drivers your going to need the exact model of the card before we start searching for a driver.

So download this program

HP DESKTOP COMPUTER #SR1365CL

Sorry to inform you but you cant downgrade from vista to xp on this model I have found most systems that are designed to run vista lose several drivers when downgraded to xp.

the only solution that will restore drivers would be to reload vista by purchasing an upgrade version of vista (this allows an upgrade from xp to vista and will restore drivers only catch is your xp operating system must be xp home with sp2(service pack 2).

When you removed vista from your machine you actually downgraded by replacing the vista operating system with XP.
