When I turn the TV on the screen will flash once and then go out. If I disconnect the white cable from the inverter board that goes to the T-Con board the screen will light up. Of course there is no picture, but the lamps are lite. Does anyone know what will cause this problem?

Testimonial: "Greetings, I appreciate your response, however I replaced the T-CON board and the problem was still there. I bought the part from Ebay and was assured it was in proper working order. There is 24 volts going to the inverter boards and the BL on voltage is present. Also 12 volts from the mainboard is supplied to the T-CON board. As I stated in my original post, when I remove the white cable from the inverter board that goes to the T-CON board the Back Lights will light up. I realize it is possible the replacement T-CON board could also be defective. I do not have a schematic for this TV. From your experience is the T-CON board always the fault with these described symptoms?"

Same symptoms here, also replaced the TCON with an ebay item. Did you ever fix yours?
