Well, look at the pyramid. There are more at the bottom... a lot more less powerful that hat to contribute and pay all to the owners of the land and we're allowed only to survive. In some cases, not even survive, slaves would be worked to ***** in many cases, in some civilizations under the farmers and artisans were thousands more slaves making the bottom of that pyramid wider, allowing for even more riches at the top.

What is a pyramid schemes?

Hi Linda, It's called a pyramid because it starts with one person putting money into a fund, Say it's a guy, He then invite as many people as he can(say 10) to do the same and then those 10 people invite as many as they can(say 10 each x10=100) and so on100x10=1,000) and on(1,000x10=10,000)... see how it grows... And what happens is the 1st guy gets a percentage of the money from the 10 people he invites plus a percentage from the 100 people they invited and it goes on and on, , the people he invited get a percentage of the people they invite plus a percentage from the people they invited and so on and on and it just keeps going and going and the higher on the list you are the more money you get but the lower on the list you are the more you struggle as it gets harder and harder to make money because everybody above you on the list are all getting a percentage from people all down the list until eventually everybody on the bottom of the list looses all their money and that's why it's *******......DO NOT DO IT, If you make any money from this scheme just know it's from people loosing theirs, Take care.........

Who was the first pharaoh

Narmer was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the Early Dynastic Period. Probably the successor to the Protodynastic pharaohs Scorpion and/or Ka, some consider him the unifier of Egypt and founder of the First Dynasty, therefore the first pharaoh of unified Egypt.

Why were the pyramids built

The pyramids were built to protect the body of the deceased pharaoh. These massive tombs were constructed to withstand the elements of time and were intended to last forever. Most Ancient Egyptians planned for their death and the pharaoh was no exception. His death was much more elaborate than the typical Ancient Egyptian and considered an important event; this process was tied to the rising and setting of the sun.

Pharaoh and cleopatra freezes constantly

Probably a bit late, but here are the best fixes I found:

First off, you want to:
*** Change compatibility to Windows XP (SP3)
*** Disable Visual Themes
*** Run as admin

Next you want to:

Download the pharaoh exe files (these are for modifying the resolution - this is what worked for me - I used the lowest res available, so I cannot comment on higher ones)

http://www.wsgf.org/dr/cleopatra-queen-nile/en

Or you can try this fix:
https://web.archive.org/web/20080721084339/http://www16.brinkster.com/salvage/thief/imagecfg.zip

Extract the .zip and place imagecfg.exe in your game's folder.
Create a batch file. First, open up notepad and paste the following.

@echo off
if not exist Pharaoh.exe goto end
if exist Pharaoh.exe.bak goto end
copy Pharaoh.exe Pharaoh.exe.bak
imagecfg -u Pharaoh.exe
imagecfg -a 0x1 Pharaoh.exe
pause
:end

Save as a .bat file and place it in your Pharaoh installation folder.
Run the batch file.

This will change the CPU affinity of Pharaoh so it will run on one CPU core."
