Meaning of Symbols on Hd rack on Proliant DL380?
i have 6 hdd on the left bay 0-4 4 green arows & 3 green symbols
on bay 5-6 green arows green symbols and res crossed symbol??

If the server is configured with split SCSI channels these indicate which bays are part of each of the two channels. The common use for this would be to use the split with two drives for a RAID 1 system drive and the remaining four for RAID 5 data or in some cases two sets of RAID 1.

Wen txting how do i find where the symbols are i.e _ or %
Hi Keith, if you are texting in portrait mode, the symbols are used by repeatedly pressing "0" or "1" (depedning what symbol you are looking for. If you are texting in landscape mode (full qwerty keyboard) then to access the symbols press the "123 SYM" button on the left of the virtual keyboard. Then use the yellow arrows at opposite sides of the virtual keyboard to browse through all the symbols.
