I do not see a picture. Is this possible to have fixed if it is the LEDs?

  • shaun taylor Feb 16, 2017

you need test the voltages, some tvs boot up to 190v then drop down to about 160v and stay at 160v, if you get a reading of 115v the leds in the panel have blown , you may have main board or tcon board fault, thanks shaun

Sharp Aquos LC-32D41U pictures problem

I have had exactly the same problem. Sounds daft but by not using the remote, and only using the power on/off switch on the TV itself, it is working perfectly...no idea why
Use the remore for changing programmes etc but not for on/off
Try it anyway because I know how annoying this is

Set up only visible for 2 seconds, then black - Aquous lc-37d43u

Unfortunately I can promise you that you CANNOT repair this. Your power and opc lights coming on, but the tv is not coming on. That is a issue within the tv. Give sharp a call and they will have somebody come fix your tv free of charge, if they cant fix it, they will replace it for free. That is the only thing you can do. Sorry bro

Your control board seem's defective or the inverter board (associated circuits) are bad. This is common in most TFT-LCD Tv's.......

Sharp Aquos LC-32D4OU

Comment by Guest, posted on Oct 25, 2008My Aquos has the same problem. I'm not sure how I discovered this, but when I lean the TV forward and hit the power button it will turn on every time. If the screen blacks out and I don't lean it forward when I hit the power button, the screen will just remain blank. It is very weird, but at least repeatable.

- Thank you, Guest. That did it. It definitely seems to be a problem with the TV. Tilting it and hitting the power button helped me get the video back.
