My sister forgot her Apple ID on her iPad and she's 55 and can't remember her password what to do?

Under this circumstance you may have to reset the iPad if you forget both Apple ID and its password.

To reset iPad without Apple ID, you need first put iPad into DFU mode and connect it to your iTunes. Your iTunes will help you to reset your iPad without entering Apple ID easily. Resetting your iPad with this method will result in wiping all the data in your tablet. The following steps will show you how to do that.

Step 1: Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad to the computer with a USB cable.
Step 2: After that, turn off you device. Press and hold the Home button for 3 seconds.
Step 3: Put your iPad into DFU mode: Press and hold the Power and Home button for 10 seconds. Then release the power button and keep holding the home button. When you see the Apple logo disappears, you have successfully put your iPad into DFU mode.
Step 4: When iTunes detects that your iPad is in recovery mode, you can restore it now.
Step 5: Click on Restore iPad. Then you will be notified after the reset and your iPad will take a restart.

After resetting your iPad with the guidance mentioned above, you'd better create a new Apple ID and password in time. After resetting iPad, you will get all the data swept from iPad, and you can restore the files from your iPad, iTunes backup or iCloud backup. However, you can't backup iPad to iTunes/iCloud without Apple ID before you reset your iPad . In this case, you need the third-party iOS data recovery software to help you recover lost data from iPad after factory reset without Apple ID.

Re set ipad mini

Generally speaking, you need the Apple ID to reset your iPad. iPad needs you to enter the Apple ID to switch off your account and the Find My iPhone service will be turn off. If you are using iTunes to reset your iPad, you need to enter the Apple ID when your iPad reboots.

But if you have no Apple ID or passcode, you will have to reset your iPad without Apple ID. To reset iPad without Apple ID, you need first put iPad into DFU mode and connect it to your iTunes. I have been using the app magic puzzles for a while. it now doesn't open. I have rebooted the ipad and updated the ipad and still doesn't open. what can I do?

First, quit all running Apps by double clicking the home button. Then swipe each one upward to remove from memory.
You have a 16gb iPad which I would not own because it is very limited with its memory. Minimum for App users should be 32 or 64gb.
Once all Apps are out of memory then hold top on off button in for about 10-15 Seconds until iPad shows Apple logo. It's Restarting.
Try your App again.....
If this fails to fix the problem then dump the App and Re download from the App Store. You own it so it won't cost anything if your using the same Apple Username & ID.
Just hold down on the App until it wiggles then click the x in the corner of the icon.
Go to App Store & find App and re download.
Hopefully this should fix the problem.
On a 16gb iPad it would be wise to not allow to many Apps to stay in Memory. Just double click the home button once in a while to clean up

Good Luck

I want to reset my password

You need to connect iPad to computer, launch iTunes, and restore the iPad. Data will be lost, if not backed up (but without a password, access is a problem...). Internet connection is needed to download new system.

I can't remember my login on my iPad when I try to back it up on my HP laptop am advised to go to iCloud and turn it off. Is there anyway I could retrieve my login or else just turn off

Apple can help you to reset your login, when you enter the correct password that belongs to your Apple ID. It will be partially on the screen. If you really messed up, setting up security, and lost unlock code and your Apple ID password. Only Apple can help. For that you have to take iPad, invoice, Prove of your identity (Passport) to the Apple store and hope they will unlock your iPad. With iOS7 Apple mede a very good security system. And while setting up the iPad and the security, you are warned several times what to do t make sure you and only you could enter the system.
Be aware if Apple cols and want to reset your iPad, all data now on the iPad will be lost.

I erased all settings on my ipad, How can I reset it to a new settings?

Not sure I know exactly what you mean with this problem, but Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings will reset your settings back to new. This doesn't affect your data, apps, etc.
