HOW DO I TIGHTEH DOOR HANDLE ON FRIGIDAIRE STOVE MODEL cfef357cs1

IF you open the door to the stove, you will see screws under the lip of the cook top, take those out, check the back of the stove for screws and then lift the cook to. On some models you may have to remove the sides of the stove too.

From my understanding you need to tighten the door handles on your Frigidaire refrigerator. I was unable to locate any information on your model JSI-26. Without the model number I would be unable to provide you with proper instructions on how to tighten your door handle. Could you please provide me with your model number? You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the right hand wall of your refrigerator. With that information I would be able to assist you further. -Matt

The model number is actually BFHS2611LM0. The handles have keyhole openings that fit over the pair of screws (near the top and bottom of the handle) on the outside of the doors. Try pushing the right side handle forward and down to lock it back onto those screws. If that doesn't solve the problem, push the handle up and then lift it off the screws. Then tighten the screws a bit (or replace them if they have stripped threads). Then replace the handle over the screws and push the handle down. Check, and replace as necessary, the door interlock and switches. These are safety items as is the door handle.

hello. Get an assistant. Open the door about 1/5 until it stays open. With the help of the assistant lift the door straight up and off of the hinges. Put the door upside down on some towels or other padding on a table. Use a screwdriver to remove all of the screws. Then lift inner panel off. Now you will see where the handle screws are. Put the handle back, screw it on, then replace the inner panel and screw it down. With the assistant slide the door back onto the hinges. Done!

You must take the door out by removing a screw then lifting the door off the hinge pin then the door must be laid on it's front and, completely
disassembled to replace the door handle.

sounds as if there is a problem with the latch assy, there are 2 switches mounted on the latch mechanism for monitoring positon of hte switches, seems as if one has gone bad, not recognizing the door lock positon therfore continues to rotate without stop.part number for the motor latch assy w/switch and bracket 318095957 . located behind rear panel

Did you leave the breaker off for 5 minutes or just flicked it off and on?

It may be a faulty door Latch
The door latch consist of a micro switch and solenoid. Once the door is closed and the latch handle.

But first try to deactivate the door lock


Oven Lockout
To activate the Oven Lockout feature:
1. Press and hold for 3 seconds
2. After 3 seconds a beep will sound, LOC will appear & "DOOR
LOCKED" will flash in the display. Once the oven door is locked
the "DOOR LOCKED" indicator will stop flashing.
To reactivate normal oven operation:
1. Press and hold for 3 seconds. A beep will sound. LOC will
clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven
door has completely unlocked
2. The oven is again fully operational.
