IPhone boots to the white Apple but cuts back off.

  • Here2HelpYou Jan 14, 2019

Have you had any issues with charging or battery life?
My iPhone had the same issue and it was simply a bad charging cable, try using a different cable to charge your phone and see what happens. My phone got to the White Apple Logo and appeared to be booting up but it suddenly died just before loading the Home Screen. If this doesn’t help, it’s very likely that you need a battery. If possible, take it to your cell phone provider, to a retail location, someone should be able to fix it and most offer battery replacement for free once each year or at least a reduced price. If your phone is a iPhone6 it’s possible you have a defective battery- it’s a known issue with the iPhone6 and Apple will replace it for free. This can be checked/verified by clicking the link I have included and entering your serial number, full Instructions are found after clicking the link which goes directly to the official Apple Support Page dedicated to this issue.

I hope this helps and wish you luck, if this has been helpful feel free to click on the icon to let me know and/or leave a review, also feel to follow me as I always try my absolute best to leave complete and helpful answers! Thanks Again & Have A Great Day!

SOURCE: iPhone 3g White Apple Logo Screen of Death

Press and hold Sleep/Wake and Home until the iPhone resets.
When the Apple logo appears release Sleep/Wake, but do not release Home until you see the prompt to connect the iPhone to iTunes.

to restore the iPhone’s firmware, all your settings, all your media, and all your Apps.
I don't recommend you to do the offered backup, I've seen a few things more reliable then this backup, to say the least...

To avoid the screen of death, do not update all the features with the "Update All" feature, updates your features one at a time, avoid performing other tasks while updating your iPhone.

SOURCE: IPHONE APPLE 2G BOOTING PBLM

Looks like the software image you downloaded from Apple could be corrupted?
Try launching I Tunes on PC without I phone connected. Then make sure I Phone is switched off. Now hold down the home key (square at bottom of screen) Whilst still holding home key plug in your I Phone usb lead. I Tunes should identify you I Phone after few seconds and prompt " detected I Phone in recovery mode" (or similar) it should then prompt 'yes' or 'no' to do recovery. Select yes and let it start. This should resolve this issue as it did on my 3G version.
If still no luck search FAQ's section on www.apple.com
Hope that works/helps?

Re-download the ipsw file that was on your iPhone, Download Spirit to jailbreak, and that should do the trick.

An all-white screen is a sign of a broken iPhone.

You will need to sens it back to Apple for repair.

How to fix a iphone when the screen going white

Hi,
You need to get into DFU mode. After getting into DFU mode, just press Home+Lock button until your phone switches back on with the Apple logo, and leave both the buttons. This should boot up the phone properly. I've done this a lot of times, so you can trust my method.

To go into DFU mode, follow this guide:

My iphone not getting started once it start just appears white apple logo and here it get freeze

Try a reset. Hold down the power key at the same time as the round home key until
phone powers down. Release buttons only when you see the apple logo,
then wait a min or two for phone to re-boot. You will not lose any data on the phone.

If this does not work, try an actual system reset. Sync iPhone to computer to back
up essential data ie contacts apps etc, then go to settings general and reset. Reset
all settings as a last resort. This will give you a fresh start and should sort out
the majority of any bugs the phone has. A resync with you computer will restore apps etc.

Hope this helps and if so please vote.

Thanks

I turn phone on and only get a white screen. cannot get anywhere other than stark white screen and thats it.

Hello. You have 2 things to try. Firstly a reset. This will just re-boot your phone with all of the data still on it. Hold the top right power button with the round home button until iphone turns off and you see the apple logo, then release buttons. Iphone will take 1 or 2 mins to re-boot.

If this does not work, often a complete reset will work. Sync your iphone to your computer so that you have all of your apps, contacts, settings etc backed up, then go to settings, general and reset all settings. This will give you a clean slate to start from and you can sync the iphone to your computer to get back all your essential data.

Hope this helps and if so please vote.

My iphone froze i took a screen shot and the screen is completely white im still getting calls and text messages but i cant acess them i need help now!

Trying doing a hard reset on your iPhone:

1. Press the home button (the big circle below the screen) and the sleep wake button (the button on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.
2. Hold both buttons simultaneously for a few seconds, Ignore the "Slide to power off" and keep holding
3. The iPhone should now shutdown automatically - (fade to black)
4. Turn the iPhone back on by hitting the sleep/wake button.
5. You should now see the Apple logo, your iPhone is restarting and thus booting up.
6. You have completed a hard reset successfully.

White apple in middle of black screen of iphone3g

Looks like your iPhone won't boot, It happens sometimes if your phone is jailbroken and you have installed another non-standard language interface, i install Hebrew on my phones, If i then erase all settings it will fail to boot, like yours...
I suggest you restore the phone and re-jailbreak
since you have erased all settings i presume you have no personal data on it, if you do have contacts/calendar/SMS items, try to backup via iTunes before you restore, even when only the apple is showing, sometimes you can connect to the phone via iTunes/WinSCP
Good luck!
