Error codes E020/04E0 and E061/0040

I have 2 Canon CLC1140's and I am getting Error codes E020/04E0 and E061/0040 one code on each one. With the fist code, the fuser isn't heating up at all and I am thinking that is the thermisters.
The second one I have to turn it on and off about 6 times for the thing to work properly.
Can anyone assist me with my problems? Thanx!
Ed

How to fix Canon c1028iF error code e000003?

Hi there!
That is a fuser error code, it is telling you that you have a heating problem. The problem is going to require a technician to take care of it. As you know tuning off and on will not reset it.
You can replace it yourself, since fusers are consumable components. Before you do, let it cool off, and then access the fuser and remove, then re-seat it. Try to see if you still get the error code. If you do, just go online to any of the laser printer parts suppliers and buy one. You can get them rebuilt or new, but will get a discount for sending in the core (your old fuser).

Error E000

Since you listed error code E000, I assume you are talking about a Canon copier. The fuser assembly failed to heat up and the code needs to be reset in service mode. If the code cannot be reset , you need a new fuser or parts for the fuser unit. Always list the Brand and model to receive the most complete answer.

Canon Gp200 Error Code E000-001

I looked up the e000 and it said it's for the fuser using not heating up and 001 error code and it is that the fuser unit is overheating. So seem to me you have a bad fuser unit.

Canon ir c 3200

It is a fuser heat error. Try to reset the machine from the error code. If problem persists you have the check the fuser for damage. Could be a thermister, thermoswitch, or faulty heaters. To clear error, service more function/clear/error/ok/ exit service mode and cycle power.

Error message? What's it stand for?

The error code has to do with the toner feed motor over heating or binding.. I was a copier the other day and because the toner bottle was put askew it put too much strain on the motor. Once I repositioned the toner bottle in correctly all was good. Hope this helps.
