My 2000 monte carlo isnt showing the temperature in the screen
It just says OC it use to say a temp that was alot colder then it was (0 when its 70) i got a new temp strip but then it started saying OC how do i fix it!?

low on freon does the compressor cycle on and off alot? or the temp acuator isnt working or compessor failure i wd ck the presurres 1st if the low and high press. is close 2 the same its the compressor
That slushy brown stuff is signs of a blown head gasket. Have a code scanner hooked up to find out why the light is on, it will probably show coolant temperature sensor. Just out of curiosity, check the pvc valve (if your car has one), and see if it's clogged. If it is replace it, the crank case is not getting ventilated.
