Well... it's sub optimal but this is what I did, run hot water into the sink, add a few table spoons of bleach and run the hose along the edge of the water to slowly **** it into the hose (the tank fills very rapidly and the auto shut off will activate). You will want to run 4 or 5 tanks of waste to get the bulk of the gunk along the walls out and this will also get rid of the serratia growing (red stuff). If you dangle the hose in a u down the front of the sink and shut off the machine you can catch about a pint of water and bleach solution in the hose and roll it around inside the hose then let it sit for awhile and finish by sucking it into the waste tank, not perfect but my hose is much cleaner.

There is a very small, white water filter (approx. 3/8" in diameter/ 1/8" thick) inside the "seat" where the solution tank connects to the machine itself. Could very well be your problem if you are in a city environment, or any other situation where hard water is present. This is a very easy fix; discovered it when my wife experienced the exact same problem.

1) Make sure other causes have been eliminated, such as clogged nozzles, etc. (Refer to owners manual.)

2) Ensure that the solution tank is indeed seating properly with the machine, (a few small bubbles rise from the connection once made.)

3) Remove solution tank. With needle nose pliers or a very small screwdriver, GENTLY remove the white filter from the black, movable "seat" connection on the machine.

4) Run the machine on manual (without the filter) to determine if this is indeed your problem. (Don't run for an extended period of time this way if this actually is your problem. The filter is there for a reason!)

5) Simply wash the filter gently between thumb and fore-finger. Vinegar may be used, but simple tap water works as well. If clogged, you should feel grainy, hard water type scale/ lyme build-up when cleaning the filter.

6) Recycle the original filter or replace if necessary. (It would be very easy to make a new one without going through the hassle of dealing with OEM parts or Bissell. Just go to your local hardware store and they should be able to help you out with no problem.)

Voila! Spotbot works again.

The solution is simple...I had the same problem and i solved it.Download spybot search n destroy...Its free. Make the updates. Shutdown the pc run safe mode pressing f8 before mem checking.
Now run spybot in safe mode to clean everything inside.Don't forget to immunize your system not just clean.
When its finished restart the pc in normal mode.
Then go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Here is the problem!!!
With right click to the file (hosts) unmark the "only read". Now right cLick and "open with" notepad.
Now mark everything inside and delete them all!!!
Save the file empty. Restart the pc and you are ready!!!

If you have restrictions set for location services, anytime the app ask to use this service, it will not allow it to be added to the list. Turn "allow changes" on and try running app again.
