If you have any trouble with your Brisa gel nails, there are several instances that may cause problems such as peeling and lifting. If the gel is allowed to touch the skin, cuticles, or sidewalls, peeling may occur. Peeling is also not uncommon if too thin a layer of gel has been applied. It is important to apply several thin layers to build up the strength and create an apex. Also, Brisa Bond must be cured under the UV light for 10 seconds or peeling may occur. Lifting may occur if you have not done a thorough preparation of the nails before applying the product. Be sure to keep the gel in the pot away from the UV light. If uncapped pots are exposed to the light for long periods of time, the gel will turn hard and be unusable.
Brisa gel is hypoallergenic, but that doesn't mean that you won't be allergic to it. Being hypoallergenic simply means that a person is less likely to be sensitive to the product, because it doesn't contain some of the chemicals that other gel systems do. Good Luck!
"OPI Axxium Soak-Off THICK Gel Sealer is ideal for applications requiring the extra control for a thicker seal, such as on smaller fingers and toenails. Thick formula won't run, self levels for an ultra-smooth finish and cures in 3 minutes using the Axxium UV Light." http://transdesign.com/Gel/OPIGel%20SoakOff%20Gel.htm
There is a switch in the door jamb that turns on the light and also allows the dryer to start. If you close the door and the light does not go off like it did before, then that switch is probably bad.
