My phone doesn't ring. The call goes directly to my computer and I don't know someone is calling.

This could be failure of the power adapter module.
Is your Magicjack plugged into the wall power thru a power adapter? Try bypassing the power adapter and plugging the magicjack directly into a USB port on your computer. If the magicjack work correctly now, then you have a bad power module.
I had a similar problem. My Magicjack was plugged into a wall socket. First the dial tone became inconsistent, then I could no longer make calls out, then it died completely.
I plugged the MJ into a USB socket on my computer, and it then worked normally.

Magicjack is aware of the problem and offers a replacement power adapter module. To contact them, go to www.magicjack.com and go to "support". They will ship you a new power module for about $5.50. Some people have reported that the replacement modules from Magicjack are no better than the originals and have had repeat failures.
Consider getting a power module from another source. There are lots of AC to USB power converter modules available on Ebay for only a few dollars. Search Ebay for "magicjack power adapter".

Magicjack problems

is your computer on? Magic Jack must have a computer powered up, with a working high speed internet connection in order to work. for this reason I suggest you get an Ooma. computer not required and it is still free, just pay the taxes. my monthly phone bill is $3.45 or less sometimes. magicjack also has no quality of service to speak of. so you don't really get support when there is a problem.

No ring on incoming calls

I found this in statement in a review of Magicjack on Amazon, hope it helps.

The one problem I did encounter was at the beginning when I found that one of my phones wouldn't ring when someone called me. By googling the problem, I found out that this problem is due to the ringer equivalency number (REN) of the phone you are using (google "phone REN" to find out what it is). Most phones have their REN listed at the bottom of the base unit. From my experience, I believe Magicjack will only work for phones that have REN of up to 1.0B (add up all phones in your system to get your total REN. Mine had a corded base with 0.6B REN with 2 more cordless handsets. I figured that made my phone system total to 1.8B REN). Magicjack did ring on a phone that had 0.98B REN. To fix the problem, I bought a multi-handset GE DECT 6.0 (model 28223 Series) which basically has REN 0.0B. Magicjack had no problems ringing with this phone. My phone system was over 3 years old anyway so I didn't mind replacing it.
