Unlikely to be a temperature sensor or switch, because when you start it, the engine is cold. It is a known issue!

My 2007 Opel Corsa CDTI car cuts out on occasions, usually when slowing down in traffic. It usually starts when I switch the ignition off, wait a few seconds, then it starts.

Check the idle speed and adjust if low, Injectors can't leak back but they can leak into the cylinder and cause idle problems .

Hi my opel 1.4 bakkie idle starts to hunt 1 min after starting

erratic idle can be many things but as the head has been worked on double check all the connectors to the injector's, vacuum lines , air intake etc have been replaced correctly and look for signs of wear, splits in the pipe work , have the OBD codes read as could have a sensor/switch issue

My opel Corsa lite Revs itself while idling or when I press the clutch while driving. The rpm stays @ 2.. What is the cause of this

A similar thing happend to me turns out it was the idle rev cold switch thing>
basically the switch which provides more fuel and revs when the car is cold, so that when you start the car it doesnt just die off.
the switch itself is a bit mechanical and is perhaps jammed on the full on position. If it happens more when the car heats up. then it is this switch.

what you can do is start your car one cold morning and see how high the revs are, if its still high then its probablly not the switch
