Samsung un32eh4000f no power, no light, nothing. Replaced power supply, now has power, lights, sound, acts like it turns on but no back light or anything on display. Replace motherboard, same symtoms

With the cable unhooked that goes from power to main board that only tells the backlight section of the power board is working without regulation or overload protection, I suspect you have some bad lamps and overload or over current is shutting it down, of the issues I see with no backlights on Samsung sets about 95% of the time it's the backlights causing the issue

1. disconnect the cable between the power supply & the main board, if no back light, replace the defective back lights LED strips inside of the panel.
2. If the back light are light up, i will try a new main board.

To test the back lights, you need to disconnect the cable between the main power supply & the main board, apply the AC power to the power supply, if the back lights are not light up, the back light are defective.

look for blown / swollen capacitors ,mine had 6 gone so got a kit off ebay under a fiver

its bad main board, the screen seems to be fine, get it replaced/diagnosed.

pl. check the power supply(SMPS), It can repairable, mostly the electrolytic capacitor for power storage gets damage. Also it may be replaced with a new one.

The problem is that there is a bad capacitor on the power supply board of the television, it is still turning on because it is not yet completely bad. While it tries to respond is when you get the clicking sound, therefore it is going to keep acting that way until the bad capacitor is replaced.

Run a check on the power supply board, you will definitely see the bad capacitor, have it replaced and the television will turn on after reassembling the television back together.
