If the machine is running on suction, ie sucking out of a barrel there may be an air leak on the suction hose or pump. it will pull air easier than pulling water .

put the machine under mains water pressure, hose pipe straight from tap to pump.
check all around the pump and inlet pipes for leaks.
if water leaking this needs rectifiying for it to work on suction.
run the pressure washer while on mains pressure with the hose on, does this make a difference?

if not then probably the unloader is stuck in the pump head. remove unloader , clean and replace it
parts breakdowns are available on the internet for your machine.

possibly valves stuck, or the valve springs have broken, seen this quite few times on these machines. if so replace springs .

These sort of machines do not last very long anyway, about 50 hours use if your lucky.

Excell vr2522 pull cord jammed

Is the garden hose connected and turned on?If so make sure that the trigger on the gun is being pulled while your trying to start the engine! The backed up pressure in the high pressure hose can mimic a blown or seized engine in this situation.

I have a honda 2600 pressure washer. After running fine for a couple of seconds the water will stop flowing out the tip. It is receiving water, but will not flow it to the pressure hose. I even disconnected...

This happens when air gets inside the hose. An air bubble of sorts is in the hose and will not build pressure until you blow the air out of the line. Start the pressure washer, turn on the water. pull the trigger on the gun. It will spitter and spatter and come to a trickle. release the trigger on the wand. Pull the trigger again and it will eventually work it self out.

My Honda GCV160 Pressure washer runs great, but isn't creating any pressure out of the nozzle. Not even a drop out of the wand. Its been on hiatus while I've been recovering from an injury for 3mos. It...

Take hose and gun off pump.
Start engine.
See if pressure comes out of pump.
Next, remove water hose and look at filter washer.
Clean or replace filter washer.
Turn on water and it should come out of pump on other side.
These steps will tell you if problem is water supply or pump.

Sometimes the problems happen because the gun lever is bad.
Hook up hose but not the gun
See if pressure comes out hous.
These steps will tell you if problem is gun or hose.

I have a honda excel 2500 psi , where would the pressure relief valve be located?

Many of the excel units don't come with a pressure relief valve but instead a thermal relief valve, it really depends on the model number of the pressure washer. You should only replace the thermal relief valve if it is leaking.

Engine runs. No water thru hose. Pressure valve(???) underneath has water coming out of it

Sounds like bad seals. But first take the hose off and see if water comes out the outlet without the hose there.

Lost pressure

try this
dissconect hose and lance , and check for water flow through the machine , if theres none or just a trickle then you may have gunk in your inlet filter ( usually a small plastic gauze insert just where the water feed hose connects )
then start machine , check for high pressure flow ( you will see the difference )
its quite common for the nozzle on the lance to become blocked
if all this seems fine but the lance is vibrating then you have a blockage in one or more of your pump valves .
