How do i recieve and make phone calls using huawei mediapad 10link?

For enabling your voice call on Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD follow this instructions :

1- First you should root your device follow the bellow instructions :

Root On ROM 4.1.2

Root On ROM 4.0.3

2- Download Root Explorer android app

3- Insert an empty microSD card to your tablet (100Mb is enough!)

4- Open Root Explorer app and go to this location :

cust/hw/normal/prob and local.prop

open it in edit mode then :

Search this content:

# ro.config.hw_phone_switch=0

And then change it to this (remove # and turn 0 to 1):

ro.config.hw_phone_switch=1

And then search this content :

# ro.config.hw_phone_ui_hide = false

Change it to this (remove only #)

ro.config.hw_phone_ui_hide = false

if you don't see them write yourself on file at the end of file named local.prop :

ro.config.hw_phone_switch=1
ro.config.hw_phone_ui_hide = false

and then save local.prop file .


5- Connect your tablet to Pc and download this phone patch and extract it

Download Phone Patch

Open (Run as administrator) the file with the name Huawei MediaPad FHD 10 3G_4.1.2 official version of the B002 a key ROOT.bat and it shows to you two messages ,on both of them click ok and during the run, your tablet reboots on fastboot mode.

7- After your tablet goes off and on PhonePatch2 app will be add to your apps open PhonePatch2 app , First press the gray button and wait for the message to be rooted to the access request and confirm , Second press the second button to install the phone app and then restart your tablet after installation.

8- Ok you can uninstall PhonePatch2 app and enjoy from your Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD !

Attention :
If Phone app is on apps list but you can't dial a number from PhonePath2 click on second bottom again to install the phone app again .


Enabling voice call have been tested successfully on this two firmware
