I have a radar jrc jma-9933-sa model acquire target did not show with white square instead show for less then 1 second a black square and then disapear when try to manual acquire a target on screen,ty

After black out of ship during audit Radar Model JMA 9303 no work.
Radar start work and after 15 sec. switch off.
Radar not show target and display error "ANTCLK ER" ( Bearing pulses are not
sent to the display unit)and "TRIG ERR" unknown error.

Any body can suggest the solution

There is a seal on the antenna scanner shaft, just below the seal there are two bearings, thou the antenna are enclossed moisture still get inside and get to these bearings. Try and get a small amount of wd40 on the bearings, if not, you will soon begin to see false echoes on the screen because the motor on the scanner or antenna will begin to work harder causing a drag causing these echoes. Hi , I have a JRC 1000 with manual if it can helps ( in English and french but i ma in france. You can also use the installation manual of JRC 1500 available on internet under pdf format , very similar ( same screen and operating interface )

More than likely your motor is going bad. Inside the motor is your bearing pulse generator. Replace the motor and you should be ok.
