SOURCE: Camera lens

It sounds like a CPU chip incompatability issue. Sigma has that problem sometimes but are usually very good about rechipping at no cost (at least for Nikon-mount lenses). What did they say when you asked them?

Best place EBAY but you might have to try different country like UK or CANADA also check the web page of the person doing the listing.More than likely this is the place to find it .I have seen one recently in this location.

SOURCE: MINOLTA DYNAX 5400 HS flashgun manual

Since Minolta quit the camera/flash biz, Ebay is your best bet for a printed copy.
To get a free pdf file, Go to KM global website.
Select Canada, as yer country.
navigate your way to downloads.
Also check the Orphan camera website.
I have a pdf for one, but I am not allowed to give it to you here.
Try the Minolta groups on Yahoo.

Can i use tamron 90-300 mm af macro on my minolta 404 si dynax ?

Tamron makes lenses with a variety of lens mounts. If the lens has a Minolta mount then yes, you may use it with your camera.

I need a rechargable battery for my minolta dynax 7000i camera

The Minolta Dynax 7000i uses a 2CR5 battery. This is a disposable lithium battery. As far as I know, there is no rechargeable equivalent.

My Monolta Dynax 5D judders on startup, then the shake reduction display flashes then it wont take pictures or turn off. It just shows br1 in viewfinder display

It would appear from other sites and users that the anti-shake mech has failed and the cost to repair outweighs the value so I will stick with my SonyA700, sell the lenses and filters I dont need and scrap the body. Thanks for the reply.
